Mobile Internet use is expanding at great speeds all over the world, due to the popularity of mobile devices and the expansion of global mobile infrastructure. The growing popularity of the mobile web has reduced the price of these USB devices, which are now often included in contracts for free. Surf sticks can still be purchased as part of pay as you go Internet packages however, where users simply have to top up their data once it has been used. However, many users also choose to enter into one or two year contracts with Internet providers, and pay a monthly fee in order to access a fixed amount of data at a standard rate.
